Bakery's week of doughnut donations
A BROOKLANDS bakery is gearing up for a busy National Doughnut Week in which they'll donate cash from each doughnut sold to a children's charity.
Between May 10 to 17, Country Bakery in Wendover Road will donate 10p to the Children' Trust - a charity which needs to raise £7 million for a nation rehab centre for seriously disabled children - for every one purchased.
Store manager Tina Mahoodi told Messenger: "I'm really excited about our first National Doughnut Week. After hearing about what other bakeries have done we hope to have a great deal of fun decorating the store and enticing customers in for a treat in aid of this good cause."
For bulk doughnut orders telephone the bakery on 998 3559.
