Your Letters | Gordon must go | | 9:16am Friday 9th May 2008 | | GORDON Brown was hammered last Thursday as we gave him our first verdict on his inept premiership and hated policies. |

| There will soon be no hospitals at all in Trafford | | 9:13am Thursday 8th May 2008 | | SEVERAL months ago your newspaper ran an article about certain conservative members of our council who had objected about the sale of a piece of land on Broadway in Davyhulme and subsequently were removed from their positions on certain committee's for daring to ask why/or voting against the sale of this land to a private concern at almost half it's market value
This piece of land was sold so that a new surgery could be built in place of the Canterbury road surgery that is too small for the number of patients it has, and that another reason for such a low sale cost was that the NHS in Trafford was struggling with it's debts and this would help them and at the same time serve the community. |
| Rowdy revellers destroying image of cricket | | 3:53pm Wednesday 7th May 2008 | | I HAVE lived on Dane Road in Sale for many years, and over the last few months I have become increasingly concerned at the level of rowdy behaviour taking place at Sale cricket club. During the weekends that the cricket team play at home, the members bar and general area seem to be full of foul-mouthed, lager swilling louts who are making local residents life a misery. | | Reader comments (5) |

| Thanks for your votes | | 9:09am Wednesday 7th May 2008 | | I WOULD like to thank the residents of Urmston Ward for re-electing me as a ward councillor for the next four years. Your continued support is very much appreciated and I will continue to work hard on your behalf. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over this period especially out and about in Urmston as I have done over the last four years. | | Reader comments (2) |
