I WOULD like to thank the residents of Urmston Ward for re-electing me as a ward councillor for the next four years. Your continued support is very much appreciated and I will continue to work hard on your behalf. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over this period especially out and about in Urmston as I have done over the last four years.

Thank you once again for your support.

Cllr. Christine Turner, Urmston Ward

Goodness knows why you have got re-elected, Urmston is a shambles and all due to the council. Business's ruined and for how much longer god knows. I do not know what the future holds for Urmston residents but at present it is diabolical. My personal feeling is the design is a disaster waiting to happen and all because the council are not capable of forward thinking and planning, do not learn by previous mistakes and take such short sighted views, but what do you care, you will just move on.

My comment was to the councillor not to a nosey Dave who considers himself Lord of Urmston.

Interesting Sid, you can dish criticism but you can't take it...

Dave, I can take criticism all day long because unlike yourself I do not consider myself above anyone else.

Anyway,to change the subject.I would just like to make it known that some people from Partington do have a brain and can actually achieve something in life.I read what I thought to be a patronising comment from a Conservative councillor recently about young Sean Anstee(from Partington)The councillor congratulated him on his success and then proceeded to "say and coming from Partington too".I think some of these people need to wise up.Anyway well done Sean an ex Broadoak pupil too!!
