Glamour model wins jungle food trial

Glamour model Nicola McLean asked if she could get pregnant by eating animal testicles after taking part in a Bush Tucker Trial.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant won the trial called I Scream Van by eating five dishes, beating former EastEnder Joe Swash.

The start of the eighth series of the show saw the public vote for Swash to be pitted against page 3 model and WAG McLean in the grim task. Swash, who played Mickey Miller in the BBC soap, has already been nicknamed "Jade of the jungle" after bungling Big Brother contestant Jade Goody because of his clangers.

The pair were greeted by hosts Ant and Dec and a customised ice cream van and their fears were realised - they would eat Bush Tucker.

There were five rounds and taking turns they both had the option to choose the first meal presented to them or pass to their opponent. The courses included crocodile eyes, two dead scorpions, cockroaches, and a crocodile foot.

The final dish was a blind course, both celebrities had to pick from a "whatever's on the stick" or "whatever's in the tub".

Swash chose the stick and was presented with a crocodile's penis and testicles, while McLean needed to eat the testicles of a kangaroo to win the trial.

Victorious McLean thought she had swallowed semen from the animal, telling Esther Rantzen: "I asked (Ant and Dec) whether the ball bag was full of semen... I asked if I could get pregnant."

Filming continued as normal on the show on Monday as deadly storms lashed the east coast of Australia. One man was swept to his death and more than 230,000 homes and businesses lost power along a 112-mile stretch of the Queensland coast.

The Australian government declared Brisbane a natural disaster zone, and promised to make troops available to help with the clear-up. The celebrities in the camp - around 70 miles from Brisbane - escaped the worst of the storm, but still had to endure heavy rain in addition to all the other perils of the jungle.
