Homebase and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) launched their charity partnership today with staff in the Altrincham store pledging their commitment to beating heart disease by helping to raise money towards a £2 million target over the next two years¹. The nation’s heart charity came top in a store-wide staff ballot in March by an overwhelming majority. The ‘Keeping Hearts Beating’ campaign will run through all of Homebase’s 330 stores in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland, with the money raised by staff and customers helping to place defibrillators in GP surgeries and responder groups within local communities across the UK.
